A Bar-Height Interpretation of an Iconic Design
Inspired by Marcel Breuer’s 1928 Cesca chair—one of the most iconic designs in modern furniture history—the Kastra Cesca Cane Bar Stool with Leather Piping has been reinterpreted with specific dimensions for bars and counters. Thanks to its timeless lines, use of natural materials, and strong presence, it offers a wide range of applications, from kitchen islands in homes to café and restaurant projects, and from hotel bars to boutique venues.
The chair features wooden details crafted from kiln-dried, 1st-class beech wood with a minimized moisture content. This construction ensures longevity and form stability, while the natural cane (rattan) used in the backrest and seat provides comfort even during extended periods of use due to its breathable structure. The cane texture lends a warm and natural character to any space.
The specialized PVC support system used under the seat minimizes the risk of sagging even under intensive use, ensuring that the bar stool maintains its form and comfort for many years. The metal frame and chrome plating combine industrial chic with durability, offering a sturdy and balanced seating experience.
The filler and varnish applications on the wooden surfaces provide high scratch resistance while creating a smooth, high-quality tactile feel. With Natural, Walnut, and Black varnish options, the Cesca Cane Bar Stool with Leather Piping easily adapts to various decor styles and interior design concepts.
Offered with a 5-year warranty, the Kastra Cesca Cane Bar Stool is supported by a one-to-one replacement guarantee, excluding user errors. It provides an ideal solution for project-specific production and bulk orders.
