Product Description

Iconic Design, Superior Comfort

The Kastra Cesca Armchair with Flat Leather Cushion reinterprets Marcel Breuer’s 1928 Cesca design—one of the most important icons in design history—to meet the needs of modern workspaces. Combining timeless aesthetics with ergonomics, freedom of movement, and superior seating comfort, this special model offers a wide range of use from home offices to professional workspaces, and architectural offices to creative studios.

Produced from kiln-dried, 1st-class beech wood with a minimized moisture content, the wooden details ensure long-lasting use, high load-bearing capacity, and form stability. The natural rattan used for the backrest offers a breathable experience during long periods of sitting, while the tufted leather cushion added to the seat takes comfort to the next level, allowing for comfortable work throughout the day. Faux leather is used on the seating area.

The tufted (quilted) details on the cushion lend the chair a classic elegance, while the high-quality leather texture provides a premium experience in terms of both aesthetics and durability. The special PVC support located under the seat minimizes the risk of sagging even during intensive use, preserving the chair’s form for many years.

The armrest design supports the correct seating posture while reducing shoulder and arm fatigue during work. The metal frame and chrome plating used in the body give the chair an industrial elegance while offering a robust and balanced structure. The filler and varnish applications on the wooden surfaces provide high resistance to scratches while creating a smooth touch sensation.

Different varnish options such as Natural, Walnut, and Black allow the chair to adapt to various office decors and interior design styles. Offered with a 5-year warranty, the Kastra Cesca Armchair with Flat Leather Cushion is backed by a one-to-one replacement guarantee, excluding user errors.
Upholstery or cushion fabric/leather can be changed upon request; price differences may occur depending on the preferred material type.
