Mart Stam S34 Leather and Metal Office Chair

Bauhaus’s Iconic Cantilever Design

The Kastra Mart Stam S34 Leather Metal Office Chair brings a timeless and revolutionary form, regarded as a milestone in modern design history, into today's workspaces. First designed in 1926 by Mart Stam, one of the pioneers of modern design, the S34 has gone down in design history as one of the earliest, purest, and most influential examples of the cantilever chair form.

Its unique construction, which remains balanced without the need for back legs, offered a groundbreaking engineering approach for its time while paving the way for the widespread use of tubular steel technology in furniture design. Perfectly reflecting the Bauhaus philosophy of “form follows function,” this icon still displays a contemporary, clear, and powerful stance today.

The chrome-plated steel frame gives the chair both visual lightness and high load-bearing durability. The flexible cantilever structure adapts to body movements during sitting, enhancing comfort. The natural leather seat and back surface provide ergonomic support for long-term use while creating a professional and prestigious appearance.

Its swivel mechanism and wheeled base make the S34 not only a design icon but also a highly functional solution for today's office and home workspaces. Thanks to its minimal form, it provides visual simplicity in the room while offering a wide range of use from executive offices to creative spaces, home offices, and meeting areas.

The Kastra Mart Stam S34 is a strong choice for those who pay homage to design history and do not want to compromise on aesthetics in their workspace. Offered with a 2+2 year warranty, this iconic piece is an investment that maintains its value over time.
